Individuals can brew tea in Keurig coffee makers by purchasing K-Cups that contain tea. Loose leaf tea can be made by placing a brewing basket filled with tea inside a mug, then filling the mug with hot water from the Keurig. Tea should steep for about five minutes before drinking.
As of 2015, Keurig offers a wide variety of K-Cup teas, including Lipton Natural Energy tea, Tazo Zen tea, Twinings Pure Peppermint tea, Jasmine Green tea and Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger herbal tea. Sweet tea, several varieties of decaffeinated tea and flavored iced teas, including peach, raspberry and lemon, are also available.
