Can I buy Biofreeze in a store?

Biofreeze, once available in drugstores such as CVS and Walgreens, is only available in person through health care practitioners and online at health care retailers as of August 2014. The company created another product called Perform for retailers to carry in store. Perform is labeled "From the makers of Biofreeze."

Biofreeze created stricter requirements for distributors of its product, prohibiting them from selling the product directly to consumers. Biofreeze wanted to limit the application of its topical analgesic to health care settings, such as the chiropractic or physical therapy offices, and to those under the care of a health care professional.
