How can you buy discount tickets to the Baltimore Aquarium?

There are multiple ways to get discount tickets for the Baltimore Aquarium. Purchasing a membership to the aquarium allows daily admission all year. There are local area hotel packages that include discounted tickets. The aquarium offers special discount opportunities after 5 p.m. beginning in March through September. There is a $1 admission fee during the second weekend of December.

1. Become a Baltimore Aquarium member

   Go to the Baltimore Aquarium webpage. Find the link at top of page marked "contribute." A column of options will appear. Click on "membership." Scroll down to the type of membership desired, and join. Membership allows daily access for a year as well as other discounts.

2. Seek out hotel discounts

   Check with local area hotels. Some hotels offer discount aquarium tickets to guests who stay there.

3. Visit the aquarium between March and September

   According to About Travel, typically between March and September, the aquarium discounts admission on Fridays after 5 p.m. Although the aquarium closes at 8 p.m. on these days, guests may tour until 9 p.m.

4. Visit aquarium second weekend in December

   According to About Travel the aquarium offers $1 admission during the second weekend in December. Be prepared for crowds; this is historically the aquarium’s busiest day.
