Can dogs eat almonds?

Pancreatitis is an inflammatory condition that causes digestive problems like diarrhea. Sodium can also cause ion toxicity in pets, so The Daily Puppy suggests only feeding unsalted almonds to dogs. When used in moderation, the ASPCA states that unsalted almonds can be a nutritious treat for any dog.
