Can you dye your hair with Kool-Aid?

Kool-Aid is used to dye hair temporarily in a variety of colors. Kool-Aid works best on light-colored hair and may require several applications for darker hair.

One method of using Kool-Aid to dye hair involves adding two packets of the chosen color with 2 to 3 tablespoons of conditioner in a color-resistant bowl. Stir the mixture thoroughly to form a thick paste. Comb and massage the mixture onto the hair, making sure not to apply it to the scalp. Cover the hair with plastic wrap or a shower cap and leave in for six to eight hours or overnight. Rinse hair until the water runs clear.
