The American Egg Board provides an easy recipe for cheese quiche. The recipe requires around 10 minutes of preparation and about 40 minutes of baking time.

The recipe requires a 9-inch baked pie crust, 1/2 cup and up to 1 cup of shredded cheese, 6 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of dried herbs. The recipe suggests dried thyme leaves.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spread the cheese evenly on the bottom of the baked pie crust. The pie crust can also be covered with cooked diced bacon. Beat the eggs, milk, salt and herbs until they are blended. Pour the blended ingredients into the pie shell. Bake the pie for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
