Where can you find an electrical code book online?

As of 2015, an electrical code book, or the National Electric Code appears online at the National Fire Protection Association website through the link labeled "Free access to the 2014 edition of NFPA 70." Visitors must sign in with an ID and password to view the full edition.

The NEC is the industry standard for electrical design, installation and inspection of electrical equipment. It describes the rules and processes necessary to safely install electrical components, including wiring, conductors and other electrical equipment in commercial, residential and industrial buildings. As of 2014, the current NEC is the 2014 edition, with the next edition expected in 2017.
