Mint can be frozen and kept for 3 months in the freezer. Before freezing mint, remove any damaged or discolored leaves and stems, and wash and dry the mint leaves thoroughly.
To freeze mint ice cubes, fill an ice cube tray with clean, chopped mint leaves and top them off with water. Freeze the cubes until solid, then remove the mint cubes and place them in a labeled freezer bag.
To freeze mint leaves whole, place them on a baking sheet and freeze them for 2 to 3 hours. Once frozen, place the leaves in a labeled freezer bag or container.
