Can you freeze Pyrex?

Pyrex can be frozen and endures significant thermal shocks well, but it should be brought to room temperature gradually to avoid possible fractures or shattering. Pyrex is more resistant to sudden changes in temperature than glass, and when it breaks, it is less likely to leave behind dangerous shards.
Pyrex is commonly used to make baking dishes for casseroles, lasagna and other food stuffs. However, it is also more brittle than usual at low temperatures like those maintained within freezers. This means that the Pyrex can be more easily broken if it is kept in a freezer for a protracted length of time.
