Vinegar can bleach hair. Vinegar is an inexpensive and natural bleaching agent.
To lighten hair with vinegar, simply mix one part vinegar to six parts of water and pour this mixture over damp hair. Leave the vinegar and water mixture on the hair for 10 to 20 minutes before rinsing the mixture out of the hair. Apple cider vinegar is the preferred choice of many individuals who lighten their hair with vinegar. Since vinegar is generally not as concentrated as most artificial hair bleach, it will typically create a more subtle effect than commercial bleach when used to lighten hair.
