A pigeon egg does not need to be kept warm until it has been incubated. The egg does need to be turned at least twice a day. If there are foster parents available, the egg can be placed in the nest between 24 to 48 hours after the foster has laid her own eggs. If no foster can be found, an incubator can be purchased. The egg should be kept at 99 degrees Fahrenheit with a humidity level of 55 to 60 percent.
