An online customer earns points on purchases from the Kmart website by entering the email address and password associated with the Shop Your Way account during the checkout process. The points accumulate in the account associated with the member number.

Items on the Kmart website list the number of Shop Your Way points earned when the item is purchased. As the customer adds items to the cart, the points accrue. If a customer does not already have a Shop Your Way account, she can create one during the Kmart checkout process. Points go into the Shop Your Way account after checkout is complete.
