Where can you find the model number on a Maytag dryer?

One of the most common places to find a model number on a Maytag dryer is on the back of the unit on the upper-left side of the cabinet, as of 2015. However, there are many different places the model number can be located depending on the model.

Other places that the model number can be found are the inside of the door frame or inside the door itself. If searching a gas dryer, the model number may be located behind the access panel on the bottom of the unit. The model number is a series of letters and numbers.
