Where do you find the serial number for a Maytag dryer?

The serial number of a Maytag dryer appears on the registration card as well as a paper sticker or a metal plate attached to the appliance. The location of the sticker or plate may vary depending on whether the dryer is a single, stack or multi-load model.

On most of the Maytag dryer models, the serial number is usually located at the top left side of the rear of the appliance and along the bottom of the door opening. The serial number for a multi-load gas stacked dryer is found inside the top compartment on the inside of the door of the machine.
