Can you put honey in your hair?

Honey can be used in the hair as a natural conditioner and an antioxidant. Honey also has antiseptic and antibacterial properties and can help with scalp infections and psoriasis.

As a scalp treatment, place 1 tablespoon of honey on the scalp and massage it in. Cover the head with a shower cap and allow the honey to sit on the scalp for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

As a conditioner, mix 2 tablespoons of honey with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds and apply it to the hair, working it down to the ends. Cover the hair and allow it to sit for 30 minutes.
