Can you put sneakers in the dryer?

Avoid putting sneakers in the dryer, as high heat may cause them to lose shape and support. Allow sneakers to air dry after washing. Insert a towel inside each shoe to help them keep their shape while drying.

Sneakers should never be put in the dryer, but it is okay to put them in the washer to clean. Use regular detergent and cool or warm water, or hand wash with a towel to spot clean.

To keep the inside of sneakers fresh, swap out the liners every couple of months. Wash shoelaces once a month, or have a few pairs to swap out after excess wear.
