What can you see from the Grand Canyon Skywalk?

From the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a person can see 4,000 feet down to the bottom of Grand Canyon West and to the distant rim 3 miles away. Because the Skywalk is located above a side gorge and not the Granite Gorge, tourists cannot see the distant Colorado River.

Visitors can find the Grand Canyon Skywalk at the Hualapai Indian Reservation at Grand Canyon West, a five-hour drive from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Tourists need to make reservations to visit the Skywalk and pay a fee to walk out onto the structure. There are also limits to how many people can use it at a time.
