Can you still buy an original Lite Brite?

The original Lite Brite is no longer in production, but it can be found for sale on toy collector and auction websites. As of 2015, Hasbro has changed the design with newer technology. A flat screen has replaced the rear light projection, and LED lighting has replaced the incandescent bulb.

In addition to the updated flat screen model, Hasbro's Lite Brite is available in cube form with four screens to fill with multiple designs, battery-operated and travel-sized models, as an online toy, and as a mobile app. Replacement pegs and design templates to create are available for the many various formats.
