Can testicle pain be a sign of cancer?

Testicle pain can be a symptom of cancer, although testicular cancer can also be present without pain. Heavy sensations in the scrotum, groin or lower abdomen, as well as lumps and/or swelling on the testicles can also indicate cancer, according to WebMD.
Like other forms of cancer, testicular cancer can metastasize, or spread, to other organs as well as throughout the blood stream to lymph nodes. Sometimes testicular cancer develops to a later stage without the patient or doctor noticing the early signs. Lethargy, sweating for no reason, headache, fever, malaise and a dull pain throughout the belly or lower back are all possible signs of advanced stages of testicular cancer, as stated by WebMD.
