What can you use to clean a Keurig?

A Keurig can be cleaned with warm water, a cleaning toothbrush, white vinegar and a microfiber cloth. Most of a Keurig's removable parts, such as its drip tray and water tank, can be washed by soaking them in water and cleaning liquid.

The boiler and brewing unit inside the machine can be cleaned by combining vinegar and water. Once mixed, the liquid must be run through the machine to allow it to descale any coffee and water residue inside. Water must then be ran through the machine until the smell of vinegar no longer remains. The K-Cup holder portion can be cleaned by using a brush to clear out any residue or leftover material.
