What safe cleaning agent can be used to clean the inside of a Keurig machine?

A Keurig coffee machine can be safely cleaned using vinegar, an all-purpose cleaner or dish detergent. A microfiber cloth and a cleaning toothbrush help wipe down the machine and scrub small crevices.

Before scrubbing the coffee machine, the unit should be unplugged and the reservoir, lid, drip tray, drip tray cover and K-cup holder should be removed. The removable parts can be soaked in a sink full of hot water with a tablespoon of dish detergent added for cleaning. Use a toothbrush soaked in vinegar and water to remove coffee grinds in the K-cup holder. A microfiber cloth soaked with an all-purpose cleaner can be used to wipe down the exterior portion of the Keurig coffee machine.
