Can you use sake in a lemon drop martini?

Three ounces of sake combined with 1/2 ounce simple syrup, 1 ounce lemon juice and 1/4 ounce orange juice makes a sake lemon drop martini. A lemon twist adds extra flavor and garnishes the drink.
Increasing the amount of sake in a lemon drop martini can give it a stronger flavor. Sake can also replace the dry vermouth in a regular martini recipe.
Other variations of the regular martini include substituting gin for the vodka or adding Cointreau or triple sec, both of which have a citrus taste. For best results, martinis should be shaken in a martini shaker and strained before they are poured into chilled glasses.
