Where can you find Winter the dolphin?

As of February 2015, Winter the dolphin lives at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater, Fla. Winter was found in trapped in a crab trap line in Mosquito Lagoon when she was 3 months old. As a result, she lost her tail and was fitted with a prosthetic one.

Winter is a bottlenose dolphin born in October 2005. She lost her entire tail fluke and joint, which dolphins use to swim. Clearwater Marine Aquarium worked with Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics to fit Winter with a prosthetic tail. She has since learned to swim with the tail by using her whole body to move around. Winter is the subject of the book "Dolphin Tale," which was made into a film in 2011.
