What does "CCCP" mean?

CCCP stands for the Combined Community Codec Pack. This is an installed codec pack that decodes files using its many already downloaded codecs, rather than having the user download individual codecs every time she needs to decrypt a file for viewing.

CCCP is intended to make a more universal codec download system for Windows users who need certain files decoded for viewing, such as many anime subgroups. The pack is small and compact as it only downloads the codecs needed and nothing more, unlike other codec downloads that typically download more than just the codec and take up much more space on the hard drive.
