Where is the city of Bellflower, California?

Bellflower is a city in Los Angeles County, California. Incorporated as a city in September 1957, it has an area of 6.1 square miles and a recorded population of 78,106 in 2015.
Originally settled by dairy farmers, the town acquired its present name in 1909, and while there is some uncertainty over the origins, the most common explanation links the name with the orchard of Bellefleur apples grown in the area. Initially, residents wished to name the town Somerset, but the Post Office Department rejected this because there was already a town of that name in Colorado. When the town attained city status, it became the 348th city in the state of California.
