How do I clean artificial plants?

Clean artificial plants by placing them into a large bag with table salt. Shake the bag to cover the plants in salt. Wrap nylon pantyhose around a vacuum cleaner hose to avoid damaging the plants, then use the vacuum to remove both the salt and any dirt absorbed by it.

1. Fill a bag with salt

   Fill a plastic bag with table salt. Add enough salt to cover the entire surface of the plants you want to clean.

2. Add the plants

   Place the artificial plants in the bag. Shake the bag vigorously so the salt adheres to the plants.

3. Remove the salt

   Stretch a piece of nylon pantyhose over the end of the vacuum hose attachment, and secure it with a rubber band. Run the vacuum hose over the artificial plants to remove the salt and any dirt or dust.
