How do you clean plastic?

To clean plastic, wipe it with a detergent and water mixture, and spray the plastic with kitchen cleaner. Scrub off dirt with a sponge or nylon brush, and rinse the plastic. Dry the plastic with a soft cloth, and buff it with a paper towel to restore its shine.

1. Apply the detergent

   Pour water into a bucket, add mild detergent to the water, and mix. Moisten a soft cloth with the mixture, and wipe the plastic. Rinse the cloth as needed to avoid spreading the dirt.

2. Apply the kitchen cleaner

   Spray the plastic with kitchen cleaner, and scrub off the remaining dirt with a sponge. Use moderate pressure when scrubbing to avoid scratching the plastic surface. If the plastic surface is rough, scrub off the dirt with a nylon brush using a circular motion.

3. Rinse the plastic

   Wipe the plastic with a soft cloth to remove the cleaner. Dampen another soft cloth with water, and wipe away any cleaner remnants.

4. Dry and buff the plastic

   Wipe the plastic dry with a soft cloth, and buff the surface with a paper towel to make the plastic shiny. If needed, spray the plastic with mild glass cleaner to remove any traces of cleaner, and wipe the plastic dry with a soft cloth.
