To clean glass shower doors, coat them with baking soda and vinegar, rinse them with water, scrub stains with hydrogen peroxide, then rinse and dry the doors. This 25-minute process requires gloves, baking soda, vinegar, a bowl, a spoon, hydrogen peroxide, a grout brush, a toothbrush, a squeegee and rags.
- Apply baking soda and vinegar
Combine 1 cup baking soda and 1 teaspoon white vinegar. Combine the ingredients with a spoon, put on rubber cleaning gloves, and apply the paste to the shower doors. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the doors
Rinse the doors with warm water, and wipe them with a rag until no traces of baking soda remain.
- Treat stains with hydrogen peroxide
Pour hydrogen peroxide over stained areas, and scrub them vigorously with an old toothbrush. Pour peroxide over the grout and caulk, and rub it in with a grout brush. Keep the brush off of the glass so you do not scratch it.
- Dry the doors
Douse the doors with warm water, set the blade of a shower squeegee at the top of the glass, and pull it straight down. Repeat on the rest of the glass, and then polish the doors with a dry cloth.
