How do you clean a hairbrush?

To clean a hairbrush, use a comb to remove hair strands, wash the brush with shampoo, rinse the brush and let it dry overnight. If you don’t have a comb, use a pen or pencil to remove hair strands from the brush.

1. Remove the hair strands

   Use a comb to comb through the bristles and loosen the hair strands, then remove the hair from the brush. A pen or pencil also works well to loosen the hair.

2. Wash and rinse the brush

   Squeeze a few drops of shampoo onto a toothbrush, and scrub the bristles and head of the hairbrush. Rinse the brush in water to remove the soap.

3. Dry the brush overnight

   Place your hairbrush in a ventilated area, and let it dry overnight. Make sure the bristles are facing down, so water can drain off the brush.
