How do I clean the inside of my UGGs?

To clean the inside of UGG boots, remove dirt and debris by shaking the boots upside down, then wipe the interior with a paper towel. To eliminate odors, pour a combination of baking soda, corn flour and essential oil into the boots, and allow the mixture to rest overnight.

1. Knock dirt out of the boots

   Turn the UGG boots upside down and tap all sides of the boot to loosen dirt and debris. Shake the boots over a trash can to remove loose debris.

2. Wipe down the interior

   With a clean paper towel, wipe the interior of your boots. Pay close attention to corners, which is where dirt and debris typically congregates.

3. Add an odor-eliminating solution

   Pour 2 teaspoons of corn flour and 2 teaspoons of baking soda into each boot.

4. Shake the boots

   Vigorously shake the boots to spread the solution throughout the boot interior spaces.

5. Add essential oils

   To help overpower strong odors, pour 10 drops of your favorite essential oil into each boot. Essential oils, such as lemon, lavender and frankincense, help mask unwanted foot odor commonly associated with sheepskin boots.

6. Distribute the oils

   Shake the boots again to distribute the essential oil throughout the boot.

7. Rest the boots

   Place your UGGs in a dry area of your home, such as your closet. Allow the cleaning solution to rest overnight.

8. Remove the cleaning solution

   The following morning, vigorously shake each boot to remove the powder. Wipe the interior spaces with a clean paper towel to help remove excess powder residue.
