How do you clean memory foam?

Clean memory foam by spraying it with a mixture of warm water and laundry detergent, allowing the foam to sit for a few hours before pressing it with a clean cloth to remove the detergent. Once cleaned, the memory foam needs to dry completely before being used again.

1. Mix the cleaning solution

   Mix two parts warm water with one part laundry detergent. Place this mixture in a clean spray bottle.

2. Spot clean the memory foam

   Vacuum any dirt and debris off the memory foam. Use the detergent to spot clean any stains, dabbing the detergent into the stain with a clean cloth.

3. Spray the memory foam

   Spray the memory foam with the detergent and water mixture. Apply a light coat over the top surface of the memory foam. Let the detergent mixture remain on the memory foam for several hours.

4. Clean off the detergent

   Press on the top of the memory foam with a clean, absorbent cloth. Continue to press on the memory foam until the detergent residue is gone. Use a clean cloth as needed.

5. Allow the memory foam to dry

   Place the memory foam in the sun or in a well-ventilated area to dry out. Flip the memory foam over, and repeat the process on the other side until all surfaces are clean.
