How do you clean silver with aluminum foil?

To clean silver with aluminum foil, line a deep pan with the foil. Add your silver to the pan and cover it with hot water. Sprinkle 2 cups of baking soda and 1/4 cup of salt over the top and let it sit for about 10 minutes before scrubbing.

Make sure the pan is deep enough for the water to cover your silver and the aluminum foil covers the all areas that the silver touches. Do not use boiling water. Turn the silver over half way through the soaking time. Use a soft bristled tooth brush to remove any dirt or tarnish that did not soak off.
