What cleaning solutions are safe to use on stainless steel surfaces?
By Forinfos - 22/08/2025 - 0 comments
Soap, detergent, baking soda, diluted ammonia and vinegar are safe cleaning solutions for stainless steel surfaces. You can remove most spots on stainless steel surfaces with simple soap and water mixtures.
Mix soap or one part detergent to two parts water to create a mild stain remover for fingerprints or light surface stains. Diluted or watered-down ammonia and vinegar remove tougher stains, such as burnt food, light rust or oil deposits. Pre-soaking hard stains in baking soda and water helps break up deposits before applying ammonia or vinegar. Remove hard water, cement splashes and paint with diluted ammonia and vinegar, along with a heavy scrub pad or brush.
