A climate map of Africa is a map showing climate zones of Africa. The continent has a variety of climate zones ranging from tropical to subarctic on the continent’s highest peaks.

Tropical rainforest climate is found particularly in the middle of the continent and also along the eastern coast of Madagascar. Most of the northern part of the continent, which contains the Sahara, is primarily desert or arid, while the Sahel below the desert is characterized by steppe. Mediterranean climate is also found in Africa, mostly on the northwest coast and in the southeast. In the southwestern part of Africa, the climate is mostly humid.
