There are several ways to receive free CNA training in and near Brooklyn, N.Y. First Care of New York offers training to applicants who are approved. Kingsborough Community College also has a nursing program with tuition that can potentially be paid in full by financial aid.

The First Care of New York program requires applicants to visit one of its offices with a photo ID, social security card and a letter of reference. If accepted, applicants receive free HHA and PCA training. Kingsborough Community College offers an Associates of Science in Nursing that federal and state financial aid may pay for depending on a student's income.
