What is the toll for the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel?

As of May 2014, the toll to cross the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel is $7.50 for cars, $5.33 for cars with an EZ Pass and a minimum of $9.62 for trucks. The charges went into effect on March 3, 2013.
The Brooklyn-Batttery Tunnel is a four-lane highway known as Interstate 478, which travels under the East River and connects Brooklyn to Manhattan. Specifically, it connects the Red Hook neighborhood in Brooklyn to the southern tip of Manhattan. The Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel was officially renamed the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel on October 22, 2012. The tunnel is operated by MTA Bridges and Tunnels. In addition to cars, 26 different express bus lines travel through the tunnel.
