CoolSculpting is a modern medical procedure used to remove excess body fat without using injections or surgery, and it leaves no scars on patients. The procedure kills the fat cells by freezing them, which are then digested by the white body blood cells, according to the Daily Mail.

The procedure was devised by two Harvard doctors. CoolSculpting is an effective thigh and belly fat treatment procedure approved by FDA, explains CBS News. The sculpting device is placed on the area being treated, and fat is pulled and cooled between two freezing panels. The procedure lasts for about an hour depending on the area being treated, notes Fox News Magazine.
