Coral honeysuckle vine, or Lonicera sempervirens, is a woody vine with blue-green leaves and long red flowers. Coral honeysuckle vine is hardy in USDA Hardiness Zones 4 through 9.
Coral honeysuckle vine is native to the United States and has trumpet-shaped blooms and bright red berries. Flowers are in whorled clusters and are attractive to hummingbirds. They need full sun or partial shade with a well-draining soil that is loamy and rich to thrive. Evergreen in the warmest climates, coral honeysuckle vine grows 10 to 20 feet long and blooms spring, summer and fall. It is noninvasive, unlike some honeysuckle varieties.
