What is a CSA certification?

A CSA certification is a designation awarded to a qualified professional working with older adults and their families. It acts as proof that the professional has passed the CSA certification examination and has met all other requirements to use the CSA designation.

CSAs understand the social, financial and health factors important to senior citizens and how these factors work together. CSAs use their knowledge in their professional practice to satisfy the needs of their senior clients. CSAs are required to keep their qualifications current by earning at least 30 continuing education credits every three years after their certification in topics related to aging and ethical issues.
