What is the CYO Basketball League?

The CYO Basketball League is a youth basketball league that is run by the Catholic Youth Organization. Its focus is to give children a chance to play basketball and display good moral values.

The Catholic Youth Organization uses sports to give kids a chance to exercise good Christian values and responsibilities and make friends with other kids across the diocese. The CYO sponsors many sports including girls' volleyball, track and field, cross country and softball. These teams are not city or club teams. The CYO Code of Conduct says "CYO activities should be examples of the meaning of Christian sportsmanship."
