The Daily Jumble is a word game published daily in most newspapers. It asks players to solve four anagrams, providing clues and blank spaces into which to fit the answers. Players must unscramble all four words and then unscramble letters circled in the four words to solve the clue.
Martin Naydel invented the Jumble game in 1954. The Daily Jumble is owned by Tribune Media Services and appears in more than 600 newspapers each day. Jumble also has its own website, which publishes its own Jumble game daily. The website features downloadable Jumble games, as well as a mobile app for devices using the iOS operating system.
