On the second Sunday in March, clocks are set forward one hour in observance of daylight saving time. Each time zone in the United States switches to daylight saving time at 2:00 a.m. Several U.S. territories, along with the states of Hawaii and Arizona, do not observe daylight saving time, as of 2015. The term "daylight saving time" is often incorrectly spelled and pronounced "daylight savings time."
