What is the depth of the Nile River?

The Nile river reaches depths of between 25 and 33 feet depending on the location. The Nile runs from south to north, but only a small portion of it runs through Egypt, even though the river is normally connected very tightly with the country.
The entire river has an approximate length of 4,132 miles. It is often mentioned that the river seems to flow backwards due to its south to north flow. The river has two main sections named the White Nile and the Blue Nile. The White Nile is considered the headwaters of the Nile, while the Blue Nile is the main source of water.
