Did Ferdinand Magellan have kids?

Ferdinand Magellan and his wife María Caldera Beatriz Barbosa had two children: Rodrigo Magellan and Carlos Magellan. Both of his children passed away at an early age.

Magellan, a Portugese explorer and navigator, was the first European to cross the Pacific Ocean. He led the first voyage to circumnavigate the globe, proving that the Earth is round. He was killed during this voyage in the Battle of Mactan, and the remainder of the journey was completed by Juan Sebastián del Cano. Magellan was born around 1480 in Portugal. He was killed in 1521 in Mactan, Philippines at the age of 40.
