Bisquick is a baking mix, whereas flour is a chalky powder that is made by grinding grains such as wheat, rice, oats, corn or barley. Bisquick contains a mixture of flour, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils, baking soda, dextrose, and salt.
Bisquick is a baking mixture that allows a person quickly and easily prepare baked goods such as pancakes, breads and biscuits in less time than would be necessary if starting from scratch. Flour is a base ingredient necessary to make baked goods and other foods. Flour is an ingredient in Bisquick but requires additional ingredients before it is used to make baked goods.
