What is the difference between a mini home and a modular home?
By Forinfos - 09/02/2026 - 0 comments
A mini home is typically very small in size, can be customized and begins with a premade building, such as a shed. A modular home is a traditional-style home that is assembled at a manufacturing facility and shipped to the building site in pieces.
Modular homes are typically pieced together at the building site. The manufacturers install all features of the home, including the bathroom fixtures, walls and flooring, while mini homes are customized on-site by the owner. Some manufacturers also offer modular mini homes. Modular mini homes may contain sinks and other permanent fixtures, but the size of the home is much smaller than a traditional modular home.
