What are dingo puppies?

Dingo puppies are immature dingoes. Dingoes are wild dogs generally associated with Australia, but they also live in Southeast Asia, where they likely originated, according to National Geographic.

The females give birth once a year to an average of five puppies, which are independent by 6 to 8 months of age. The adult animals weigh 22 to 33 pounds and are reddish or golden in color. Dingoes live alone or in groups. They eat small game such as rabbits and rodents and occasionally feed on plants. Dingoes roam long distances and communicate by howling. They can and do interbreed with domestic dogs, and an estimated one-third of southeastern Australia's dingoes are actually dog hybrids.
