What are micro-mini puppies?
By Forinfos - 30/10/2025 - 0 comments
Toy, teacup, micro and mini are all terms used to describe puppies that, when fully grown, remain relatively small when compared to other dogs of the same breed. While there is no official standard for micro- or mini-puppies, these puppies are generally the smallest of the toy breeds.
As of 2014, breeders can set the standards for micro- and mini-puppies, and, because of this, there is a wide variety among mini- and micro-puppies. However, most puppies referred to with these terms achieve a weight of about 3 pounds or less when fully grown. Breeds commonly sold as micro or mini include the Chihuahua, the miniature pinscher, the Maltese, the French bulldog, the Pomeranian and the poodle.
