How do you download the latest version of Microsoft Works?

If you already own Microsoft Works, you can download the latest critical updates to the program from Microsoft.com. Microsoft Works was discontinued in 2007, and there are no legal download versions available.

The last version of Microsoft Works was version 9.0, released in September 2007. Microsoft's last updates to the program were security updates compatible with its Vista operating system. To find these updates, click the search box in the upper right hand corner of Microsoft.com, and enter "Microsoft Works."

You can still legally purchase overstocked and discontinued copies of Works on physical media from online retailers such as Amazon.com.
