Who was Dr. Phil's first wife?

Dr. Phil McGraw’s first wife was his high school sweetheart, Debbie Higgins McCall. The couple got married on Nov. 27, 1970, and the marriage ended in an annulment in 1973.

McGraw met Debbie Higgins at Shawnee Mission North High School in Kansas City, where he was a football player and she was head cheerleader. They got married at Southridge Presbyterian Church in Roeland Park, Kansas, when they were both 20. The couple moved to Topeka, Kansas, where McGraw ran a health spa and motivational seminars. McCall says her husband became domineering and shut her out of the business, which led to the annulment.

McGraw married his second wife, Robin, in 1976; as of 2015, they are still together.
